What i pity today is those new and young peoples joining PAP as first timer, they still taught it would be a kind of like in 2006 or 2000 walk over or easily won and going thru the motion kind of election. Must had been psycho by the their seniors about high paid and easy entry. Guess now, they really feel the ground.

Dont need to pity the new and young candidates joining the pap.
Let them know that joining the politics is not just get good fat salary. You must be able to help the people internally and promote spore externally.
Yes, the new and young candidates better feel the ground more often and not sittting in the air con room waiting for result from grassroots members.
I understand, but those joinning PAP must at least, you hv to agree with me, thinking of the millions of dollars salary dreams, unlike those new oppositions, which put their life infront to serve us.

Good salary mah...a carrot dangling in front of Angel nose, Angel will also want to bite and run.
That's the point I wanted to emphasis on why people joined PAP.
For new opposition new candidates, there is a risk, no carrot and their career can be jeopardize, but they still move on, the able to take the risk, able to give up their self to the public and to change singapore society. That is there motivation factor,be the agent of change
For the PAP new ones, there is absolutely no risk, and a huge carrot waiting for them, $$ is the motivator, change? you wait long long
