Artistic mah, so far, Jurong has been outcasted as factory workers and line managers living, add abit of Art to make it more vibrant, Nude is good for them for a start. -

Damn...NSP? I checked their website and am so disappointed with the calbire of candidates contesting my GRC.
Even though i am ready for change but the candidates opposition sent must be worth the vote.
Anyway, i will reserve my judgements till i hear what they have to say, their values and their proposals.

Well if you consider that the opposition needs every vote, and that regardless of our complaints the old generation and foreigners will vote PAP,
that good candidates have been bought by the PAP or pressured against joining the opposition,
and most of all, that due to foreigners this is your last chance to vote,
would you change your mind?

I honestly don't mind 10%gst, however I hate to see my annual income tax taking 47% off my annual income for the year of assessment, like some particular countries that has 15%vat on top of that.

Absolutely agree. i am fearful for my son's (who is 9mths old now) future so you know who i am voting for. -
Dun play play know.....president nathan advised PAP to dissolve the parliament. He ADVISED them!! Who the fuck in this world can advise PAP?!?!
And he opened the reserves the last time after due consideration......PAP had to consult him before he allowed access. SO...............dun fark around with the all powerful president.

I had a great conversation with a cab driver on my way back from Woodlands Checkpoint last night. All the more since he is living in Aljunied.
In his 50s or 60s, he reminded me (or all of us, younger people) to vote wisely:
- He lamented the fact that not much has been done to ease the burden of our rising costs.
- He fears for the future generations having to pay for increasing schools' fees.
- He mentions the casino where LKY previously claims will not be built as long as he is around, and the social ills it has brought
- He addresses the fact that every election promises are made but also borken
- He commented that nothing much has changed in the manifestos of PAP from previous elections to this current one. We are actually going round and round without hitting the right spot.
We enjoyed our conversation and i am sure many of us have had similar conversations. It is nice to know that old or young, we have similar passion for our future and what it holds.To the election polls!
