PAP leaders have said that there are ‘internal debates’ within the party. This was (quite emotionally) emphasised by Mr Lim Boon Heng when he insisted that there was ‘no group think’ within the party, giving the example of his personal disagreement to the building of the casinos. What is your view on this?
Dr Chee: If a party policy so vexes a member to the
point that it makes him express himself so emotionally, then he should
take a principled stand and resign. In the UK, government ministers from
the Labour Party who could not agree with their leaders over the Iraq
War didn’t cry, they quit in protest.
Can he concentrate on other issues other than ministers who have already stated they are stepping down, then cry?

SDP should disband. The members should join Workers Party which is really the strongest and most probable party.
I like Chaim See Tong but sadly his health condition looks worst than LKY. His party SPP should also be disbanded to join Worker's Party.
Long serving guard indeed.
Now he's retiring and more young new faces coming in...can they perform?
Yeah, they can talk nice, what pple wants is action and results.
Den he fail to prevent the casino from opening as a minister. Mean he is not suitable at all. Minister with no portfolio mean Zuo Bo Minister

I remember the Vivian came out to support the IR. He was a new cab minister then.
When they have their weekly meet the people session and have to face a barrage of IR gambling related problems then they shiok liao loh, so shiok until they will get their grassroot leaders to lead the sessions, and find way to siam instead.
Casinoes create jobs.
Lots of them.

Of course not. You must always put your family first.
Quote LHL:
"People do not enter politics to get rich but neither will they enter politics and as a result, they and their family will become poor."
Huge uproar over PM Lee's comments
Haha. If I were that rich, I would buy a few houses overseas, and have a jet fuelled and ready to go. just like those Vietnamese generals who stopped over in Singapore and then flew on to US.

your comment " of course not" meant
1. cant forgo his million dollar salary?
2. not disillusion on party policy?
When a catholic is asked to choose between going to hell in the afterlife and a million dollar salary while he is alive the sure result is SIT DOWN AND CRY LAH!

Both. Of course he can't forgo his million dollar salary and has no disillusionment on party policy, the party has served him so well!
