SINGAPORE: Some of Singapore's outstanding architectural works are getting noticed in Europe.
They are now featured in an exhibition at the prestigious architectural and urban design Aedes Gallery in Berlin, Germany.
The
gallery is the first private architecture gallery in Europe and is
renowned for recognising and promoting leading architecture around the
world.
The Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) said the
architectural works featured are a testament to Singapore's growing
reputation as a well-designed city and a talent base for Asia and
beyond.
The showcase by URA exhibits the work of 20 Singapore
architects under the age of 45 - from trailblazing residential projects
to commercial developments in Dubai.
The exhibition panels are on display at the Aedes Gallery from 28 March-12 May this year.

On first read, it sounds like singapore's architectural works are receiving acclaim in europe. On further scrutiny, actually our works are just one of the many displays in the exhibition.
And then URA goes on self praise to say that Singapore has a reputation as a well designed city. There are many more well designed cities in the world and a tribute from some world renowned expert would surely do better.
Wei mod.....lol... u suka suka change my topic title ah?
Anyway back to the topic....I realise that mainstream media in SG is very good at speaking a lot about nothing at all. One word: OBFUSCATION. People in there must have doctorates in OBFUSCALOGY.
