Singaporeans just haven't learnt from history.. example Russia, Germany, China... if you read Animal farm by George Orwell you might understand.. sigh... there won't be any difference if you change your political party.. the grass is always greener on the other side.. you gotta understand economics, opportunity cost to realize what a good government we have. but it would definitely be better if they are willing to make sacrifices and not take home such a fat pay of cause.. sometimes, the other side lies uncertainty.. and with the introduction of social media, this is almost an epidemic.. whats so bad with the government now?? so what if their pay is high, at least they are not corrupted.. eg. so what if mas selamat escaped, Wong Kan Seng wasn't the one who let him escaped. at least he took the rap for it. that's called taking responsibility as a superior.. and Singaporeans just see things as it is.. ok.. i am a Singaporean, and i am still proud to be one:D
