actually govt earn lot more money from other incomes sources than taxes.
COE: 50k/cert 1000car/mth = 50million/mth= 600million/year.worker levy: $400/head/mth x 0.5million foreigner workers= 200million/mth.= 2.4billion/year.
road tax, ERP, property tax, TV and radio licence( recently voided), company tax, GST, personal income tax, casino tax, casino entrance fee....... that why paying 2-3million to minister is peanuts to them.

we have to pity these ministers, the only way to repay them is to pay them 4xobama salaries. They have such heavy workloads, in fact 4 times obama's workload. anyway, obama is only occasionally speaking about libya, nosing a little about japan tragedy, managing economic and education policies for a country with not so great companies like intel, boeing, apple, google, caterpillar etc and handling the not so important issue of QE and reserve currency of usd. objective enough? think so.
