Zainul Abidin Rasheed
Netizens have setup a FaceBook group named “Vote Zainul Abidin Rasheed Out” to appeal to residents of Aljunied GRC to vote agsinst Mr Zainul Abidin Rasheed.
Explaining the reason why Zainul Abidin Rasheed should be voted out, the group said:
Beyond handshakes, smiles and attending social functions at Aljunied GRC, what has Zainul Abidin Rasheed done for the constituents of Aljunied GRC?
What has Zainul Abidin Rasheed beyond launching a boat from Oman to Singapore done for the country or the people?
What has Zainul Abidin Rasheed, despite riding on the popularity of Malay community, done for the Malay community in terms of closing the education, income, employment and housing gap between the Malay community and other communities?
Mr Zainul Abidin Rasheed is a PAP Member of Parliament for Aljunied GRC and Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

What about all the other MPs? What have they done? In today ST, the world bank says that the rising food prices will hit millions of Asia's poor. It is already hitting the lower income group in Sg. What are our MPs doing to bring down the food and other cost of living? I would suggest lower the GST percentage for basic essentials like rice, sugar, cooking oil, flour, etc. Bring down the cost of transport, prices of HDB flats for 3-room and smaller flats, medical charges, education fees, etc.
