President Hosni Mubarak is worth US$70bn (£43.5bn), much of his wealth in British and Swiss banks or real estate in London, New York, Los Angeles and the Red Sea coast.
After 30 years as president, Mubarak's investment gains are offshore and in secret bank accounts or invested in properties and hotels.
According to Arabic newspaper Al Khabar, Mubarak has properties in Manhattan and Beverly Hills on Rodeo Drive. His sons, Gamal and Alaa, are also billionaires.
Amaney Jamal, a professor at Princeton University, said the estimate of $70bn was comparable with the vast wealth of leaders in the Gulf.
Most Gulf states required foreigners give local business partners a 51% stake in start-up ventures. In Egypt, the figure is 20%, giving politicians a source of huge profits with no outlay and risk.
Hotels and land around the Sharm el-Sheikh tourist resort are also a source of Mubarak family wealth.
The Mubaraks kept much of their wealth offshore in the Swiss bank UBS and the Bank of Scotland, part of Lloyds Banking Group.

Actually PAP not so bad lah, they did improve the country. I just didn't like their hard tactics against competitors... as in they just jail opposition and make them bankrupt... and also the lack of freedom of speech in singapore is a big problem...

1) yearly management fee could be 2-3% of all invested fund, regardless loss or profit
2) 20-30% of all profits made that year.......................
after so many years.................the firm will have made billions............

if our old farts fortune not over USD 100 billions, I cut my lan jiao and cook fish head curry. he rulez for 58 years. collecting money till now. He lives, transport, eat, see doctor, salary and even coffin also under government money.
