Enough Of Excusing West

  I read an interesting article "Asia has had enough of excusing the West" by Kishore Mahbubani in the ST, today. Briefly, he was writing about the financial crisis where US was to be blamed for the latest crisis (2008) and that Asian leaders dare not say so. But recently a few have spoken out the real reason for the crisis. He also said that I quote " Most fundamentally, we need an end to the pretence that the US and EU are masters of the Universe. Both must learn to share power" I wish to add that we must also tell the West to stop intervention in other countries especially in the middle east region. Look at what is happening in Egypt now after more than 30 years of supporting a regime by the West especially US.

  Problems with the West are deep rooted but distant. Problems with China are immediate and pressing.

  the west are in danger of collapse, starting with the US and the Europe.

  again it is a hereditary problem steeped deep in the subconscious.... neither do the west willingly agree to the rising prowess of asian's economies nor do asians willing to bow forever to western dominion...

  civilisation can then also be seen paradoxically as building power to overthrow the threats of power....competitive advantage of powers is more likely than balance of powers

  when the West go down.....................the East will also go down...................

   

  only fools will think the East can survivve......................

   

  Asia is growing becoz of money from the West.......................and exports to the West....................

   

  how can the tree grow when the roots die ?
