That's the same with ALL parties.

True.. and no true.
The 2 ministers that I see going around their neighbour hood and participating in their activities actively are Mr tharman shanmugaratnam (Taman Jurong) - I used to study there and I often see him doing his rounds around the neighbourhood and Dr Vivian Balakrishnan (Holland Bukit Timah/ Senja Cashew )
I rather support worker party than SDP

Singapore MP too law by law they say cannot help means cannot help. No wonder the MP lastime get burnt.
Of course, the one who burn is wrong too.
Singapore army also law by law cannot downgrade means cannot downgrade even got specialist letter.
We are a law by law nation.
yeh SDP was non existent in BP before this? How they expect people to vote for them. Teo Ho Pin seems to have done a good job managing BP. SDP only came in because of the wet market issue.....not opportunist then what?
that's what campaigning is all about, seizing opportunities...one can't possibly expect them to hang around without resources..teo ho pin has the resources of the pa and the govt, give the same to anyone and he can do the same...chiam and low even as mps are not given the same access to funding.
not that the pap are doing poorly but if there are enough non consenting voices in the parliment, i'm certain the past decade of foreign influx and spiralling inflation may have been better checked....
SDP hoping to capitalize on the sheng siong wet market debacles, if you read up on this link, I think there should be a video as well, you can find Teo Ho Pin be cornered by SDP people.

I would tend to say voting for nice, nice MPs like Leely Neo, rumoured next electioin candidate Tay Ping Phui (dumb actor) and whatever PAPist have is of no use, when push comes to shove, they will abide by the old man's wishes and the PAPist wishes, who wants to lose $17000 monthly salary and lots of CBL board of director seats which also bring in more dough and plus you get to keep your day job, make a mess out of everything and get away with it, why not?
Lots of PAPist have properties overseas if anything goes wrong here, haha, that's the time they will grow wings and fly. Who will catch them?
I will wear a mask and smile everyday also if I'm an MP.Heeeee

That's the only thing they are good for, making themselves more known when elections are round the corner, and capitalising on issues that occiur around election period. Anything else? Election period is the only time SDP come to my mind.
Walkaround HDB blocks need a lot of resources huh....haha. Just that simple handshake and listening to the ground is enough, plus brochures etc.
I bet my balls that SDP will lose this contest, maybe even terribly.
Lose? Dude, they are like non existent. For them standing in the elections is like getting voters to choose between a rock, and a very hard place.
but if they come my GRC, i will vote them lol. What to do? Better than spoil vote. Wait 4 years to exercise democratic rights and then spoil vote? heh heh......no way.
If they come to my GRC, suddenly cynthia phua doesn't seem so bad.
I will vote for SDP, I believe passionate people are needed, not worthless state administrators who lack moral convictions and who are selling out Sinkapore, as we speak.
SDP is one of the more active opposition parties and they have really put in the effort to make themselves more well known to Singaporeans since 2006.
I will vote for them if they compete in my GRC.

I notice they only make themselves noticed whenever the polls are round the corner. Other than that, their more "noticeable" leaders are in the papers for the wrong reasons, probably their way of getting noticed.

No lah, since 2006 a lot of activities already.
