If you're so good that you should be able to expect a higher salary from your employers, then you should wait your employers to offer you, or you go and negotiate with your employers for it.If you are not that good, then you can be hardworking and brush up your knowledge and make yourself good enough to demand the expected salary from your employers.
If you're neither good or hardworking enough to make yourself good to demand high salary from your employers, then of course you will be compared with rubbish foreign workers and your employers will treat you like a trash.
Ask yourself this, are you good in what you are supposed to do at your job?
If not, go and make yourself good. Complaining doesn't increase your own market value, but shutting the fuck up and focus on improving yourself, will give you a better chance at increasing your own market value which you could use to negotiate for higher salary from your employers.
For example, able to speak foreign language....

SG is very competitive, our children have no time to enjoy their childhood, so many lessons, courses, dancing, ballet, piano, extra tuition, music etc...

I agree that there's public safety from crime generally until 2 months ago. But safety as a result of strict laws must always commensurate with safety due to elimination of poverty.
I do not ever want to hear local people turning to crime to make a living as a result of lack of assistance from the government. I warn that if I ever were to hear of innocent people committing crime as a result of being sidelined, I will do something!
People need help for financial assistance had better be helped by government unless they themselves too greedy that they gamble or speculate heavily. If people can't cope with societal expectations, do help them!
But I still think that the PAP system of government will be better replaced so as not to continue such unhappiness with society despite PAP efforts to improve society.
I mean Lee Hsien Loong's proposals of the education system of not chasing the pinnacle this National Day Rally is long overdue and should have been done 20 year ago!
