The sudden surge in gang activities in singapore recently really worrying everyone. Hope government can do something to curb it. If it does cause death to others, those involved must be sentenced to death.

Curbing is never going to stop something from happening, the most govt do is up the punishment, catch a few and implement tougher sentences to them so as to let other scared. All this happen only the activities or fight is over, Govt should and must be pro active to address this issue, because like it or not, they created this society with their instillation of culture and believe in this country, now there is a problem, are they asking themselves that something is wrong with their policies, education system, social aspect of life, etc etc...that will be more appropriate, not wait until someone get slashed or killed again, then start to give stiffer sentences, so call curbing.

more and more peope die of incurable or chronic illnesses ....you don't see many people being killed by gangsters every day right?

Why do gangsters like to tatoo? I heard if you tatoo the ghosts can see you at night? Is this a myth or a fact?

I got a few tattoos, but see no ghost leh...how i wish to see them and ask for lucky nos. Tattoo is a Art, but if people want to abuse it, up to them, just like drug, it is mend for medication, but people abuse it...

Gangsterism will arrive when the basic social aspect of life such as stable foods, essential items use in family, jobs and well being is jeopardized by the Govt in control. -

You have a good point there....I saw one teenager barely 18 yrs old all arms and legs got those japanese style tatoo all over. Like Yakuza man!

And in social science, it stated that if a country is overly wealthy, most kids will be spoilt by choices and freedom, birthrate will cease to expand, the most one or two kids per parents, giving the excess $$ and with parent doting them, just like me when young, are so called Rich gal gangster. -
