You are right about the employment ratio and quota....it could be worse if company decide to leave SG, we'll all lose our jobs.....alot of foreign companies already shifted their Asian HQ to Thailand or Malaysia....this trend will affect SG job market....

not only the salary, but also housing in cairnhill, children education in United world college or american school, .....any one item can feed a local manager liao.
Having said that, it is reasonable for the foreign companies to have one or two of their own people at the top. It is their company!
But, below the MD and the FC, there is much abuse as described by reyes. and who are these in the middle management, still their nationals, or the indians, the philippinos, because of their slightly better command in english, compared to the PRC, the Thai.
