Foreigners 40% Locals 60% True or not?

when foreigner (PRs or new citizens) buy, most of them will rent out part or the whole unit to service their loans, within a few years they can make a few hundred thousands or even more, hardly they are able to do it with just working here where they have to pay rental and cost of living. They can also buy, then rent it out and go back china to live at their hometown, then, when time is ripe, sell it.
LKY tell singaporeans not to sell and stay in your flat for life, becos he dun want singaporeans to become rich and lazy, he wants a forever working class singaporeans to work like horses.

With the changed in policy where house owner cannot own a hdb and condo at the same time. Isnt it good that rich cannot do it this way?Provided you buy few condos and rent it out.

this policy come only after years of gaining by the richs, and those who own condos and still buy HBD house before the laws kick in are exempted, so they are still gaining. The future of singapore housing will be Condo, like it or not, HDB will be building condo kind of flats which match private condo prices, it is just a matter of time that those lower income locals will be living in far outskirt places like Punggol, woodlands, sengkang, jurong west end, chua or lim chu kang, kranji and those bukit places, the centre and east side will be mend for condos and private houses just for the rich and upper middle class.Today, you see lower income and rich living quite near each other, but very soon, the rich will move out into central area, east side and barricade themselves from the poor so as to clearly distinguish between the rich and the poor.

It's more like 60% Foreigners and 40% Locals. To begin with, there were way too many foreigners in SG in the early 1990s but the foreign-loving bastard, Goh Chok Tong, had to start his foreign talent policy which only flooded our country with average or above average foreigners. If there was any justice, these foreign-loving traitors in the PAP and the Ministry of Manpower should be charged with treason and sentenced to hang if found guilty (which we are sure they are).

I watched CNA from PRCs. Did you notice that they started to interview 'Specialists' in Singapore who are holding all sort of positions and 90% of those are foreigners?????????
Even their news reporters are now foreigners!!!!!!

I wonder how they manage to hit the 50:50 (foreigner vs Singaporean) quota... obviously they flout the rules.....In fact they did not flout the rules. The word "Local" under the Singapore Income Tax Act refers to Singapore Citizens and Singapore Permant Residents (SPRs). So the restaurant bosses will just give Prs to those waiters and waitresses after a few years and they can recruit more Foreign Trash without flouting the Foreigner vs Local quota.
Additionally, these bosses may create "Phantom Singaporean Workers" by depositing CPF monies to old people but these old folks need not turn up for work.
Things are getting out of hand and Singaporeans need to show that enough is enough of to the Pro Alien Party.
