  Even without the free shuttle bus, if uncles and aunties want to gamble, they can also go by themselves. Dont need to have free shuttle bus. Just like JB, coaches plying johoreans to gamble here in spore. I wonder any one in Johore get burnt deep and hard?

  what to do, to get votes, u need the aunties and uncle gamblers, so u need to make them happy, but after won the election, all restrictions shall go back to normal and maybe even more restrictions will be impose.

  Govt need to make pple like me (non gamblers) happy, free shuttle bus service to sentosa, let families go there to enjoy and spend money there. When they happy, they automatically vote for pap.

  You know, singaporeans are a bunch of happy go lucky peoples, what they wanted is alway in the present, something like what is in for me, or any goodies for us, what happen in the past are usually forgotton, and for the future, the only think a few months ahead. So, by understanding an average singaporean mentality, it is alway good to let go some restriction here and there, give some goodies here and there, announce some good deal here and there and Boomz! PAP won the election again by...

  you never understand a gambler, win or loose is secondary, the primary objective is the excitement and feel of gambler, when they win, they go spent lavishly, when they lost, they will just say, at least i enjoyed

  Happy life = money

  Pple are looking forward, but not the past (probably they forgot about it), pple love to be happy, in fact, everybody love to be happy and stress free society. When you are happy, you will love everything around you. When you are stress or sad or unhappy, no matter how, it will be a unpleasant thing for you.

   

  So, wouldnt govt need to gear towards a happy and stress free society? Seem like they have forgotten about it recently.

  I ever talked to a loser (gamblers), they mood change, they behaviour change and their attitude change too. So far, I never heard a loser gamblers say : At least I enjoy the game.

   

  Oh yeah, maybe Angel are referring to those millionaire gamblers.

  I am referring to those living in the heartlands pple.

  that is the trick and poor sight of singaporeans, they tends to forget the past where they made so much noises before, the MS case, the NKF case, the start of FT and free immigration policy, the YOG over budget case, the so on...hope i am not helping the opposition here, but i believe when u want to choose a govt, you need to look at their past performances.

  I am sure pple love to look at present and future...no point looking at past performances for cost of living never decline before.

  This is the wrong mindset of singaporeans. The PAP has screwed up so much in the past. If you think looking at past performance is not important, you happily give your vote to them, how sure are you that they will not screw up more in the future?

  Same as applying for a new employment. The company will look at his past work performance among the many things to decide whether to hire him.

  So far, cost of living has indeed rising....salary is increment is not that fast...making life hard and little saving.

  If govt want our vote, make sure you able to bring down the cost.
