There is no need.
It is better for them to see for themselves.
In 10 years time, their sons will kpkb to them why they have to do NS for 12 or more years while "other people" don't have to.
Their daughters will kpkb to them when they can afford a $1 million dollar HDB flat when they are earning a median salary of $3,000 (projected target set by the people at the top in 10 years time).
And the new citizens will kpkb to the government why cost of living is so high, GST is so high, ERP is so high, minister salaries are so high.
And why they are being replaced by cheaper, better, faster workers.

Just saying.
Robert Ho alleges that Lee Kuan Yew rigged 1963 Elections
In the 1963 GE, LIE KY cheated again. The Barisan was leading by a landslide in the counting, in 30 constituencies out of the 50. Then, PM LEE KY caused an electricity ‘blackout’ around the City Hall counting centre, ordered everyone out, and changed the votes. After 6 hours, when electricity was ‘restored’, LIE ‘won’ by a landslide. Go to the National Library and check the microfilms of all the Chinese and English newspapers then...

Many jobless people out there... Just that most of them are working part time or on a 2 years contract kind of work that they are considered EMPLOYED.. They are technically employed but not gainfully employed.

I do hope the percentage will drop further even though PAP win this GE. A drop will make them wake up and sit and think hard!

Siao. Highest record was 86% in 1972 or 1968 if I did not recalled wrongly.
Well, they can build 1 casino but with 75% or above support, that is to
1:) Restore that fucking free shuttle bus
2:) Remove that fucking levy gravy.

I disagree. 60% ~ 65% is likely (A.k.a a slight drop), unless LHL, wants to be sacked and go work as DHL.
The lowest record ever since PAP on rule, is 61% by Goh. The people here speculating PAP votes will increase, and I may agree to some extent is due to:
1: It seemed that virgin PM has less support. PM Goh is an example
2: Now got FTs converted citizens to replace the "real" Sinkies, so whatever opposition votes was countered by these people.

You got your point there too...
If its higher... one thing is clear.... all the foreigners you see here and are complaining about are actually the same as you... they are singaporeans....and not all the tiongs that you complain....

Ok, adjust to between 57% - 63%.
You cannot compare PM Goh with PM LHL. Different style of leadership.
Unpopular policies can cause a sharp drop of percentage to PAP. In 1980, they got 77.7%, in 1984, it dropped almost 13% to 64.8% as a result of LKY's unpopular policies.
With LHL's unpopular policies in the recent years, it is expected that this coming election will see a further drop of percentage.
Quote from http://www.singapore-elections.com/parl-1984-ge/
In his 1983 National Day Rally speech, Prime Minister Lee Kuan Yew lamented that declining birth rates and large number of graduate women remaining single or not marrying their intellectual equal could see Singapore's talent pool shrink. The PAP government then proceeded to launch the "Graduate Mother Scheme" to entice graduate women with incentives to get married. These were said to have caused a big dip in PAP's support for this GE and its share of votes plunged by more than 10% to below 70%, the biggest fall and the lowest for PAP since the 1963 GE.

Yes, the new citizens in no time, they too will be replaced by a cheaper, betterest, fasterest workers coming here to work and stay.
Right now, new citizen will vote for PAP, that's for sure. Already win some votes even GE still a long way to go.
