lim h k already said learn viet, burm n pinoyChinese wun become a minority because there is high influx of PRCs coming in as FT.. ...but probably the traditional 5 Chinese dialect groups - Hokkien, Teochew, Cantonese, Hakka, Hainanese will become "extinct" sooner or later.

the pcr are now coming because the money exchange rate is better.
my guess is, the prc will keep coming for the next 10 yrs or so than stop
that is, once china becomes the number one country in terms of economy, standard of living. The prc will be return back.
but the pinoy, burmy, viety will NEVER return back to their homeland.
Why? UN have projected that Pinoy, blangla, africa, middle east will continue to have the highest birthrate in the world, going forward to the next 50 years. And these are the most stagnant places to be. Everyone there will be fighting to get out.

But it is a game of politic. Things change, game plan change, ppl change, politician change.

No lah, in 10 years time, Singapore will be attracting more foreign talents rather than those low wage workers, not that singapore will not grow, if china grow, singapore can also grow, so I believe PRC, due to their population which is huge and need to challenge each others for a job, many will still get out of their country to find better pasture and living. If i am not wrong, we are the best performing economy now, and it is predicted that we can even overtake china in term of growth for this year, that is way, i brought along some sisters from taiwan to join me here. -

why not, some of my sisters are more slimmer and beautiful then PRC gals, and frankly, most of our sg guys are more handsome, nice and cleaner than their PRC male counterpart. -
In 10 years time the uncles and aunties will be phased out.
They will be replaced by the present foreigners who will be 10 years older, cleaning hawker centres and guarding toilets.
The present Singaporean youths better study hard, and get into better positions on the job scene. If they play play now, then later they will be the same as the foreigners.
In time to come, Singaporeans will be the white collar executives, and the foreigners will be the bus captain, taxidrivers, garbage truck runners, food court workers, waiters, lounge hostess. The wash-out Singaporeans will have to compete with them or go to Australia to be foreign talents there.
