Talk is easy, but for an ah pek is concern, any opposition goes there will have their election deposit forfeited, without the need of 3 corner fight, unless a lot of superpowers excluding Chee / SDP is involved may still hit at most 20 ~ 25% of the votes thanks to 90% of the voters in Tanjong Pagar supports LKY and it means it can effectively diliutes those places that is contestable such as Radin Mas (Telok Blangah area) and Queenstown. with STI floating above 3000 marks, most rich like us dun mind PAP to carry on..but they better hang on there.

Supposing I am rich, live in land property, have 2 cars, maid and kids and is a millionaire. Why I want to meddle on PAP party? Afterall, I get to travel overseas holiday every twice a year with my family members. I wonder how many of them are rich? 5% of population or 10%? Means PAP will get their vote liao. -

Hello my fren, you must be from the dinosaur age, there are thousands of millionaires in singapore, not only me and you, HDB already cost 1.1 million, what are you talking abt a millionaire, today, you said I am a millionaire, no one give a damn, but if you said I am a billionaire (even the song also sing I will to be a billionaire, so frecky bad), then you are somewhere on the top.Bear in mind that most of the rich have govt shares, bonds and interconnection, doing big business in singapore need some connection with the govt, that is why i use to attend those govt social function to do networking, if not go there for what, show my body ar??
Now, if the rich do not support PAP, and if PAP fell, what will happen to their shares, bonds, connection and so on...u understand??

Dear Angel, that is what I am trying to say. Rich will not go for the opposition party. What for right? Right now I have say $3mil in my bank, hard cash (minus out all the bonds, securities, etc) ...do I go and fight for the govt?

depend, if yr 3 mil is in DBS or POSB, u need to fight, but if it is in some foreign bank, just keep quiet

OUR brilliant oppostion Chiam See tong has been claiming nepotism in PAP, but what did he do? raise a follower to be his potential successor for 30 years, training him, even forcing him to leave his job, but what happens when he retires? he gets his wife in, claiming she is more capable. Reading PAP news report on opposition.... well, I got your point. The only thing I'd agreed with you is to vote in capable ppl but not loser.
Since there aint many or even any capable ppl, so this round of GE's idea is to VOTE OUT LOSERS.....

1. Make it freehold for all the hbd flats owner. You can have my vote.6. Reduce the ns to 1 yr. You can have my vote.
7. Reduce the bills forever. You can have my vote.

Every year... during November and December.... air traffic can be so bad in Singapore... planes are kind of stucked at the taxiway prior to takeoff..... that you have to wait about 30 mins on average for the flights to slowly take off one by one from the airport....
TRAFFIC JAM at Changi Airport.... 7 planes waiting to fly off at the same time from the airport... queuing up to fly off.... -
Hmmmm...seem like those group do have spare cash to spend on.
Maybe they cant be bother whether pap or opp win or not.
When voting come, they just vote pap.

I wonder if in the future, there will be special interest parties to represent the various foreigner-turned-citizens groups.
They will be a huge part of the population and will definitely have different requirements than the current crop of Singaporeans.
