well, i guess PM was elected by the Party who won the election, every 4 to 5 years after winning the election, LKY will name a candidate for PM post, ask for proposal and seconder, than get a vote of confident from party's members. This is follow by deputies and so on, they do select after they won the election.
So we are not like Nkorea, I do not see any starvation here, most are overweight.
