I thought that if both are PRs, they can buy hdb flats but not 5 room. They dont have any rebates but need to pay up cash.

Well, frankly, as a PR myself, I think that is an undestatement, we are treated not the same as Singaporeans, Singaporeans have the privileges in many things, but we are better, as a person who do not contribute to built this nation, we still can buy houses, apply for this and that, enter and leave singapore thru scaning as citizens, and yet, spent and buy at our homeland at an incredible exchange rate. -

convert? to what, buddhist or christianity? that Uncle Goh anyhow talk, then come out and said that was not what he meant.Do you know that at this very moment, if all PRs, FT, FW decided to go back to their hometown, tomorrow, Singapore economy will be down to zero. That's the risk you and your country have to take. Too late to reverse.

he said, it is just an idea, still need lots of consideration. Perhap for those PR working in Public sector, maybe they need to convert to singapore citizenship inorder for them to move forward in the ranking. -

I talked to those PRs pple and their response is one word : SEOW!Knn, dont know scold me or scold the govt.
