Despite the feeble attempts of Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong to allay the concerns of Singaporeans over the relentless influx of foreigners into Singapore by reducing the intake of foreigners this year from 100,000 to 80,000, the majority of Singaporeans remain anxious about their future in Singapore which is increasingly dominated by the newcomers.
According to a telephone survey conducted by the PAP regime’s feedback unit, “0nly 58 per cent, or close to six out of 10 respondents, agreed that Singapore should supplement the local pool by staying open and recruiting talent from the world.”
The actual figure is probably much higher as Singaporeans tend to be shy, polite and diplomatic when interviewed by PAP-related agencies out of fear of being “marked” by the regime which is infamous for its pettiness and vindictiveness.
Furthermore the questions asked are pretty vague – Singaporeans should be asked point-blank if they agree on the current rate of inflow of foreigners which is fast reducing native Singaporeans to becoming a minority in their own country.
Singaporeans should not be deceived by the latest PAP’s “wayang” to seek their views on its policies for it will never bulge on major issues such as its pro-foreigner and ultra-liberal immigration policies (for uneducated peasants from China and India) which is a cornerstone to its continued political survival, relevance and dominance in Singapore.
With the support from locals fast declining, the PAP has to shore up its flagging support base with new (grateful) citizens to ensure that it retains more than 95 percent of the seats in Parliament so that it can continue to pass policies, bills and legislation at its wimps and fancies without any opposition to hold it accountable to its words and actions.
The next general election may be the last window of opportunity for Singaporeans to reclaim ownership of their country after which they will surely be relegated to being second class minorities in their own land of birth being overwhelmed by the hordes of foreigners the PAP is mass-importing to replace them.
What will be will be, oh sara sara
what will be will be, oh people of singapore
more foreigners coming, I hope more come. then one fine day, singaporeans get fed up and vote for opposition, but I still see PAP formning goverment, but can at least made them lose 1 GRC's and maybe 3-4 single seats, that will be earth shattering news, as it never happened in the history of singapore before.
What's the use of expressing anxiety? PAP will still bring them in after election, unless there is freak election result.
Vote wisely if you have the chance.
I will vote wisely this time round if I get to vote.
Vote in hope of better life, fewer ERP, fewer foreigners intake for singapore. Being anxious alone does not help to improve anything so we shall vote wisely
seriously lar, our opposition has no chance in hell to vote out the PAP out of office in our life time. the next second best option is to hope them win 1-2 GRCs and 3-4 single seats. this will be earth shattering in singapore as it never happened before. if they still continue with their current policies, then maybe they can lose 2-3 GRCs and 4-6 single seats to the opposition.
PAP will not be voted out in the next election. There is possibility of the continuous drop in their winning percentage which started few elections ago. Would like to see their winning % 51%. hahahahh
oops, if it is 51% winning for PAP , PAP may bring in even more foreigners, foreign population will reach new height , may be more than 50%

It is possible that PAP can win 51% votes but still can get 98% seats.

GG
i already know who to vote for :>
I'm sad that the government has made Singapore a place that can still carry on without Singaporeans.
i am fine with the import of foreiggn talents. but i think the gahmen is bad in controlling the selection. there are loopholes everywhere for floor traps to filter into the country and seek challenge emploment against our own singaporeans when we do not have the minimum wage scheme in pace and as a result they beat our salary many times so they get the job, change the mooney and send back to their country that is many times higher in exchange rate. for that the guys in white still never bother to listen to our heartlanders voices and for that the next election i hope they lose more votes. anyway they wil still import ft without checking what is happening on the ground. and i can tell you many of the ffloortraps really lack skills. some of them worse workeed in company very long laojiao already no wonder more comapnies have to move overseas. not only cheaper but compairing the same monkies doiing the same job of course better. they all come from the same place right?
as for those come here work as whore really i hope gahmen can import more taiwanese and jap fts in such trade. i have money to whore about, but i just cannot find the quality in those whores.

I suspect that in their plan they are gradually kicking Singaporeans out of Singapore. Not surprise that the ungrateful tyrannical father, hopeless son and gang are disliking Singaporeans a lot from the way they speak about and respond to Singaporeans. They are bunch of ungrateful creatures. Without the people of Singapore it is absolutely impossible for them to pay themselves so much salary, millions and millions of salary. We singaoreans definitely can do away with such self serving and ungrateful govt.

anothr mistake they make, increasing their own slary but they never know that there are sgreans still suffering without a meal and hoping for a next meal. our cpf still not RESTORED! i hope people who do charity really don;t do charit y any more. if you have the menas money and heart go down and help the neighbour or people you know next door with financial or family difficulties. who says you need to be in an organization or consolodate funds to hep the poor? most of the money don;t know will see the light or not. extedn your help directly to the needy. don;t go through middle man. and when the gahmen fail in the hearts of some sgreans, its time to go directly to theproblem and not through middle man. vote wisely if you feel any opposition has potential/ potential in the policies and solutions they will bring. but from what i see really might as well hope for a walkover. at least earn one day public holidy and no need to go long queue.

floor traps are all they need.

Some time back the LKY said there is no more destitutes in singapore.
I agree with troublemaker2005, the recruitment and selection of foreigner talent is flawed, those who came in arent really very elitistic or talented... but rather.... they are cheaper to hire.... and they are drastically "killing off" the middle income group holder with their low pay demands.
Yes, i know what you people are talking. Through my experience I find most of these are from China. It is a waste of time to be served by particularly China Chinese who are not willing to speak to customers in English. My Malay friend is frustrated as she comes across too many of China Chinese from this category.
Yeah... and they are giving local Singaporean Chinese a very bad name here too... =X
Even myself as a local Chinese here hates the fact that those PRCs refuse to learn the slightest local lingo here... assuming that their Chinese standard is better and give you a stupid and rude "HARRRR!!!! WHAT YOU TALKING!!!" and those "Can you speak Mandarin please...
I hate this..... especially when you order bubble tea..... Blue Coral Milk Tea.. and they give you Blue Coral Snowshake.... or they give you the wrong flavour.... =X
And those stupid PRC cashiers and service staff busy counting the money in the till and do not bother or wait for a Singaporean staff to serve you. =X

They think they are big and their China is top in the world so much so that they expect us regardless of race to speak to them in Mandarin. As a local Chinese of course I can speak Mandarin but many times I refuse to because I don't want to condone their way of refusal to speak English to serve customers.
I hope our local people from other race can differentiate between local and PRC Chinese.

Yup... Its extremely irritating.... how can you have service staff that does not try to understand the language that you are trying to convey... somemore... English is a working language and they should know how to speak before they are even giving working passes to begin with....
And at the very least if you dunno.... the basic few words related to the things you are selling... For example, a waitress or waiter should know what a plate is.... know what napkin means... those selling bubble tea should know what is the difference between a milk tea and a snowshake....
If really dunno, at least do the due courtesy to apologise first before requesting the customer to speak Mandarin... instead of crudely saying SPEAK MANDARIN... in an abusive tone.

I agree.
I was in WAtson and as usual met PRC Chinese who refused to speak to me in English tried her best to sell me products. I was politely telling her that she is in the customer service line thus should learn to speak English which is the working language in Singapore. There was this Malay Watsons staff who instead of encouraging the PRC to speak to customers in English told me to speak to PRC in Chinese. I told her there was no need to condone the refusal of the PRC Chinese in speaking English, the Malay staff did not look pleased. I think the service staff in Singapore generally have bad attitude and think that customers must meet their needs instead of them meeting the needs of Singaporeans.
Anyway, think PAP just simply cannot be bothered by theproblems bring about by these PRCs and continue to encourage them to invade our land.
