Say Yes to minimum wage for the people at the top who sometimes do not have official duties or have no official portfolios.
When the top heard this, they will quickly change topic.

That is what i meant by class struggle, typically, i am wearing both employer shoe on one side and an employee shoe on the other side. Life is born thru struggle, and that struggle must continue inorder to sustain life, without struggle, what is life? some people struggled hard at the begining of life and therefore have less struggle near the end of their life, some struggled less during young, but end up having to struggle hard for the rest of their life. And some, by fate, do not need to struggle alot, we call them, the elites

The govt can set a maximum wages for themselves, no problem, as long as it is adjustable from year to year, no differences.

1) As usual, I don't support min wage.
2) I would rather ask for the median wage to be brought to a higher level. Like that, at least more people can benefit, and also would help to take off some burden in the higher cost of living. If cost of living increase, logically, median salary should too.
if the min wage or meridan or max wage keep moving upwards, might as well forget about it, it is same as flexible wage system base on performances and economic outlook, if this is the case, we should be more focus on wages increases and the min max ratio to be reduce. For eg, civil servant, a mere basic adminstration staff starting pay gets $1500 per mth whereas a Minister starting gets $1.5 millions per year, that is a big ration between them, so inorder to reduce this ration, increase the lower basic and decrease the higher basic to a 1:5 ratio, which was recommended by the wage council of singapore, meaning that if the lower staff get 1k, the highest should get only 5k.
1.5k against 1.5millions is hell of a lot in term of ratio. OMG, that is the way we go into wage settlement, not to mention about max, min or meridan all those nonsense, Argue on the ratio.

Min wage, employers will push all the way down...cheap cheap workers....workers cannot survive the money they earn.
That's why, imho, not good to have min wage, rather than affordable household wages. Meaning it will not be fixed but will varied.

Cos' every now and then, we got to hear this increase, that increase....very frustrating cos wages stagnanted.
Yes, review in quaterly/half year is better than annually.
There are many pple still earning a low wages, hardly enough to buy 3 meals per day for his/her family.
Are you from Hkg?

But will employers so kind to guage a salary that be able to sustain the household expenses? I dont think so. As what my employer told us : BUSINESS DOESNT CARE.
