think about it from CST's side, he who brought CSJ under his wing, groomed him to be his successor.. he got shoved out of the way because CSJ wanted it all...
that one incident, destroyed the opposition movement..
the SDP was gaining momentum.. the WP side was also making headways...
in one movement, all was lost..
in that one stroke, the momentum the whole opposition fought hard to gained, ground to a halt.. people who know cannot bring themselves to vote for someone like that.. cannot bring ourselves to trust someone who would stick one in his own mentor...
if you only saw CST's face... one of shock, of despair..

I support the idea of calling in the army to arrest the rebels if the ruling party loses the election.
A country without loyal citizens, certainly will not be able to have a bright, stable and peaceful future.
Hopefully the new immigrants are much loyal and obedient than the existing ones.

Why can't the opposition understand the only way they can win more seats is
1) PAP split up
2) PAP made a very serious mistake, ppl no longer support them.
3) Singapore used proportionate representation
