Maybe in the future u need to vote for opposition. There's no gurantee PAP will always be a good party or govern countries without big mistakes.
Look at Japan ruling party for 50 years then overthrown.
Correct, there is no guarantee about what the future will holds for Singapore.
But at the present, it is clear that Singaporeans will be better off staying with the ruling party PAP.
And the current generation of the opposition parties ARE NOT MORE CAPABLE than the rulung party.
If you really need to have a political revolution, then you must make sure that you have the BEST candidates for you to vote for.
Making do with whatever trashes you can find in the opposition parties and trying to console yourselves that they should be good enough, JUST ISN'T GOING TO BE REALLY GOOD ENOUGH!!
Just don't risk the peace, stability of my Singapore.

Does the opposition parties have any capable candidates? Enough capable candidates to form an efficient government or not??
If you don't have the answer, you can only complain for life.

Always see him mingling with the older residents... and signing up Taichi and Qigong classes to get into contact with residents every week... and joining residents in monthly brisk walking activities. He is also always seen at the Bangkit Market..... so aunties and uncles also know him.
The only tough part with this elections in Bukit Panjang this time round is that 20% of the people in his constituency would be the younger generation, who will be voting for the first time.
And many of the younger generation are actually struggling right now... cant get into uni places... cant get a job.... and they may actually influence their parents to vote for the opposition....
As for the promises he made in 2006.. the only thing he did not achieve was that he promised a sports complex that comes with a swimming pool..... at Petir Road... which was then shelved to become an open concrete sports corner. In 2008, works started at Bukit Panjang Park where a new sports complex will be built, but without a swimming pool. So far, the sports complex is still in construction... 2 tennis courts... with no swimming pool that was promised.
I live in Bukit Panjang. Frankly speaking, I like Teo Ho Pin but i dun like the party he is in! How!!! SO HARD TO VOTE!!!
If he is truly as good as you say he is, vote for him then.
If CSJ takes over BP, I seriously cannot see how he will make it a better area than it is now.
Think of it as voting for a good MP rather than voting for PAP.

In that case Junyang vote void, cast void votes. My suggestion.
I joking only.
Voters who casted void votes are even worse off than those who voted for the Opposition rebels.

Voting is personal choice.I know ppl who voted like this. Cant critisize them.
Voting is free will.

If voting is free will, then why do you even suggest them on how they should vote?

Wait for the electoral boundaries report to come out first. Who knows Bt Panjang maybe become GRC?

I think only way for opposition to win is to wait for PAP to make a big big mistake until it loses alot of support. That time opposition can win alot of seats in parliament maybe overthrow PAP.Freak election results?wait PAP call in army to suppress.
I think all political parties make big mistake sooner or later.
Or PAP split into 2 parties.
Hah, if I get call up, i purposely walk slow slow. Accidentaly shoot my CO.

How to get good enough candidate? You need exposure to learn ma. I ask you, how can you be a good teacher if you don't get the chance to be a teacher? How can you be a good football player if you always sit on the bench.
That is why must let SDP win so that they can train and have more experience people. If they don't win, then they don't have chance to learn how to help us. Help them to help us. Understand.
I stayed in Bt Panjang for 16 years , and CCK for the last 7 years .
I doubt Mr Teo Ho Pin will be beaten .
Yes he is invincible i would say .
I still love Bt Panjang , if not for my wife , i would opt to remain in Bt Panjang .
16 ago , and now ..... those changes , those facelift , i would say , best in Singapore !
A good place to stay now .
All credit to Mr Teo Ho Pin .
Those MRT coming up , those LRT will be history lesson now .
Those bus services .
Those lift upgradings .
Those greenaries , landscape .

I thought the SDP is crazy to challenge Mr Teo Ho Pin .

hey don't forget the government is financing this fella to bride you to vote for him. Irrespective whether you are in opposition or PAP lands, it is the ruling government responsibility to provide these amenities to you.
If SDP want ah, they can also provide you with the Palm Jumeirah, but they cannot because PAP sure cut the budget wan.
SDP is not crazy to challenge Mr Teo. The only crazy thing about it would be if there were people who would choose CSJ over PAP.

what's so capable about the PAP people ???
most of the capable ones already kicked out by LKY so they won't be a threat to his sonny-boy...............
those current PAP ministers are all cock-suckers only..................prime examples are Mah Bow Lan and Wong Fuck 1st...................
and what's so difficult about running S'pore ???
it's just a city-sized state with a city-sized population...............and we're far better off than in the1960's...............
i rather have less capable leaders than a bunch of self-serving vampires running the show !

all the upgrades can be done becoz PAP provide the dough...............what's the big deal ???
even Ah Meng can do all those upgrades if money is there !

those people hate the PAP but got no balls to vote for opposition.............
aiyoh...........how sad................when humans become like mice.............
Talk so much for what, frankly, how much is the opposition willing to pay per vote. If it sound good, we got a deal.
