if there's anyone in spore who qualifies to be out of a job. i am one of them. yest what you wrote have some truth. i hate floor traps. i tried to love them and gave them chances again and again but again and agina they failed to earn my love. they are the type who see you weak will come eat you. they i see them no up because they can do anything just for 1 dollar. see last time 7th month they see mecollect my pail of goodies and they seat there like a beggar waiting for me to give them my stff. so i pity them give them the cooking oil and canned fruits and oyster source. beggars tthey anyhow introduce got friend can already totally not professional at all. -
I think Singaporeans are spoilt by our schooling system.
It is compulsory for children here to go to school. For first ten years the child is given whatever he/she needed.
This set most of them on a mental frame that things ought to be handed to them. That things ought to be done for them.
They move into adulthood with this attiude that life should be easy, and expect the governent take over where the parents left off. Now they want to government to make things easier for them. To hand out the goodies like their parents did when they were kids. Sorry. There is no easy meal. Some have woken up, some are still balking. You have to go hunt, farm, fish, pluck, gather, trade, make, help, i.e. do whatever is necessary to get your next meal. This has remained unchanged from the caveman days. Only the things we do have changed.
Work we must. But honestly do we like to work? Can Singapore be like Japan, and keep the island exclusively for Singaporeans only. Our service standard sucks, period.
How many different types enterprises can exist in Singapore if the labour pool is strictly Singaporean only. What will your complains be if that were the case? Uncles and aunties everywhere, bo chap you require their service? The factory so dated, no progress?
