Who said HDB flat cannot be touched? I witnessed a man who owed bank money and was forced to sell his HDB. HDB cannot intervene.
I was threatened by IRAS to pay my income tax on time, objections aside. Otherwise, penalty for not paying in time.
I have witnessed there are many low or no income S'poreans out there. When you see these people, your heart aches..
Our Opposition Party is not strong enough.

When every one stand united and firm on our right, we dun need a opposition party.
We just have to be united as one voice to work the system out.
Replacing the existing system will not work.
But, it is important to drill into their mind that they cannot be lazy and try to get away with it.
If they demand higher standard from the people, they themselves have to prove their worth.
Or else some one else should take over.

Your everyday activities are intricately connected to PAP. Your 3 meals, your utilities, your job, your children education, your house, the media, everything, all intricately connected to PAP and their tentacles of companies. You beat the system, your livelihood will be at stake. Majority of Sporeans know that, that is why they don't DARE to vote the govt out. They just cannot afford to do so!
PAP has done what the NAZIs strive to achieve in Germany decades ago.
Unless, we have a chosen one, who is willing to rise and beat the system.
But who cares! As long we can lead normal lives, have sex and children and do what we want when old, who cares who's ruling the country, as long as my livelihood is not affected can liao!

Singapore doesn't really need an opposition party/parties, unlike other countries.
As long as the Government continue to produce beneficial polices for the betterment of the country and its people, opposition parties will automatically be nullified.
They don't deserved to run the country if they cannot figure that out.

Bullied by the PAP government?Nah,we Singaporeans do speak up n want that fuking old Sh!t Lee Kuan Yew to step down,but that thick skin sad @ss dont want to retire leh.

Dear friends, fellow artists and activists from Singapore and the world over, I will be in prison for 2 weeks starting from tomorrow, August 11.

yes PAP followed the rules.
Why leh? Cuz they can change the rules to fit their objectives, i.e. GRC system and gerrymeandering.
That said, the system of meritocracy is wonderful. It empowers the able.
Welfare is indeed lacking, but we can't have a bunch of people complaining and begging for $$ from the govt everyday. What more welfare do people want? Being able to have $1k a month from the govt if unemployed?
In terms of income tax, below a certain salary, you do not even need to pay for income tax.
Certainly, the government can do more in terms of welfare, but how far can we go?

For show, they need the opposition, what you said is true, we dun need opposition, but without opposition, this place sound undemocratic, so Govt implanted opposition to their liking so that to the outside world, we still got opposition, election and certainly, a social democratic society base on justice and equality. -
