Maybe you can say because I'm a student and I appreciate the edusave and subsidies and that I'm not in that lower 20% of the working population.
okay, since you student, and schools in Singapore are depoliticised, I can forgive you.
Who said HDB flat cannot be touched? I witnessed a man who owed bank money and was forced to sell his HDB. HDB cannot intervene.
I was threatened by IRAS to pay my income tax on time, objections aside. Otherwise, penalty for not paying in time.
I have witnessed there are many low or no income S'poreans out there. When you see these people, your heart aches..
Our Opposition Party is not strong enough.
When every one stand united and firm on our right, we dun need a opposition party.
We just have to be united as one voice to work the system out.
Replacing the existing system will not work.
But, it is important to drill into their mind that they cannot be lazy and try to get away with it.
If they demand higher standard from the people, they themselves have to prove their worth.
Or else some one else should take over.
Cannot work the system out liao.
Your everyday activities are intricately connected to PAP. Your 3 meals, your utilities, your job, your children education, your house, the media, everything, all intricately connected to PAP and their tentacles of companies. You beat the system, your livelihood will be at stake. Majority of Sporeans know that, that is why they don't DARE to vote the govt out. They just cannot afford to do so!
PAP has done what the NAZIs strive to achieve in Germany decades ago.
Unless, we have a chosen one, who is willing to rise and beat the system.
But who cares! As long we can lead normal lives, have sex and children and do what we want when old, who cares who's ruling the country, as long as my livelihood is not affected can liao!
Above is the typical mentality of a True Singaporean. Opposition no hope liao
The above is the mentality of a S'porean who live one day at a time. Not sure how many % who do not dare rock the boat.
who dun live one day at a time, you mean to say you live 5 years at a time, why worry about tomorrow, let tomorrow worry by itself. You are here because of the past action, not the future one, but what you do now, will affect your future. So, be smart ya, dun let SMRT cheat you

g. Others. - Singaporeans love to bully other Singaporeans because they are a bunch of teeny whiny cowards. The common mindset and excuse is "Ohh...I didn't realised that, Ohh...isn't that our culture and how we were brought up to become?"
When was the last time you helped your fellow Singaporeans without any agenda?
Singapore doesn't really need an opposition party/parties, unlike other countries.
As long as the Government continue to produce beneficial polices for the betterment of the country and its people, opposition parties will automatically be nullified.
They don't deserved to run the country if they cannot figure that out.
Some folks are just incapable of thinking.
Singapore Education has clearly failed due to the increased population of one-liners posters.
Or is it because these people are just failures of the society?

What is a political person? Anti-Rebels?
Define that.
Bullied by the PAP government?Nah,we Singaporeans do speak up n want that fuking old Sh!t Lee Kuan Yew to step down, but that thick skin sad @ss dont want to retire leh.
Already his ministers get burned n screwed by Singaporeans, but he die die also want to stay.So we are just screwing him even more fierce n shorten his life span!!!Who knows, most probably he n his family members do surf nets n suffer this kind of humiliation critics on him lol.
To put it simple,LKY dont give up his power,we also wont give up our critics on him.See who more stubborn!!!
Maybe his sheep ministers like Goh Chok Tong, his son Lee Hsien Loong or Tony tan or other sheepty ministers do fear him,but we Singfaporeans dont fear this sh!tty old man at all.

Dear friends, fellow artists and activists from Singapore and the world over, I will be in prison for 2 weeks starting from tomorrow, August 11.
I've been arrested and put in lock-up for single days a few times, but this will be my first actual prison term. Here is a BBC article which mentions my views on it near the end, but with incorrect dates:http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-pacific-10849942
We will resume correspondence upon my release. Take care and keep the faith.

did PAP follow the rules?
yes PAP followed the rules.
Why leh? Cuz they can change the rules to fit their objectives, i.e. GRC system and gerrymeandering.
That said, the system of meritocracy is wonderful. It empowers the able.
Welfare is indeed lacking, but we can't have a bunch of people complaining and begging for $$ from the govt everyday. What more welfare do people want? Being able to have $1k a month from the govt if unemployed?
In terms of income tax, below a certain salary, you do not even need to pay for income tax.
Certainly, the government can do more in terms of welfare, but how far can we go?
Of all the frictional resistances, the one that most retards human movement is ignorance, what Buddha called 'the greatest evil in the world.'
The friction which results from ignorance can be reduced only by the spread of knowledge and the unification of the heterogeneous elements of humanity. No effort could be better spent.

For show, they need the opposition, what you said is true, we dun need opposition, but without opposition, this place sound undemocratic, so Govt implanted opposition to their liking so that to the outside world, we still got opposition, election and certainly, a social democratic society base on justice and equality.
Because placing 100% faith in anyone or any system results in your arse being screwed.
That is what's happening to Singaporeans now.
When you go into a partnership business with your friends, you trust your friends.
Do you let them handle all the banking and accounting system?
