How u read coverage of NDP?

Wiki : The military parade is now mostly ceremonial, though soldiers from time immemorial up until the late 19th century fought in formation. Parades may also hold a role for propaganda purposes, as it is used to exhibit the apparent military strength of one's nation
It is not about the party usual patronizing manner to the State of Singapore, wearing their party uniform at National Day event.
It is not about the party's total control and direct order to local media in the compulsive airing of ndp in all the major channels, the courtesy of the de facto propaganda ministry euphemistically called Ministry of Information, Communications and the Arts.
Its about the one and only picture in the party-controlled newspaper, of the pm the next day and is not even on front page, taken as a group with former PM Goh who is in the centre and dpm on his left and not photo of the pm emerging from the motorcade on the front page.
Is that party which its big on showcasing, signalling something to the voters?

Not forgeting how the old man built the nation. (Actually it was his team)
Why ?
Cos they have achieved nothing but price increase and service standard drop during the dragon prince era.

Many locals believed he is still pulling the strings behind the scene since the creation of the title 'sm' . Many ask sm or pm higher? The ambiguity becomes more jialat with creation of 'mm' title.
Some locals also think that there is no one really 'in charge' now.
2 former PM now arrived at ndp as part of the show b4 him and not quietly seated b4 the thing start.
Collective leadership is now official or wat . Is someone big leaving the political scene anytime soon ?

True, i was watching at my pub when one half drunk westerner asked me, actually who is the highest among your govt, is it the one that arrive last on the merc??, so i told him, in singapore, the one who arrive first in merc are the highest, so MM and SM arrived first, follow by PM and then the puppet President. -

As for the man in charge, the dragon have become lizard when issues surfaced.
He is either oversea or no where to be seen when flood or lapse of security happened.
Then, he will appear suddenly a few weeks later and tell the people that it is a honest mistake and it is not a big deal.
So, what is he busy with ? travelling oversea all the time ?
When he can stamp his authority and take harsh actions to solve the issue, he is behaving like a outsider and commenting on the issue like he is not involved.
How can he and his gang be trusted and respected when there are issues, the whole chain gang have to take cover under the wing of a old man ?
No one is responsible, nothing is changed, no solution.
What have he achieved seriously ? Have any issues be resolved under his command or lack of awareness ?
He have shown enough disappointment to be kicked out of the zone.

Think the situation of 'no one in charge' will get more pronounced until someone who can claim 'supreme leadership' is quickly named.

If you look at YOG in singapore, unlike other countries who had organised it, they had lots of sponsorship from coca cola to Nike to MacDonalds, but Singapore one got no sponsor, so where do you expect the money to come from....from the coffer lah!! -

Pap has alot of worries

Zero job security for those reach 40
Youngsters has online connectivity
Partly explains the need for political yog
Singapore is not communist
No longer a British colony
Yet it seems it is a bit of everything
My dream is that Singapore has no more GRC
To build a democratic society
Based on justice and equality

I like the NDP section where they highlighted Singaporeans telling people what are their aspirations.
I almost expected someone to come out and say "I aspire to be cheaper, better and faster"
