Sylvia has been working hard on the ground in Aljunied quietly away from the media since the last election and she will be most likely going for Aljunied again in the coming election. The problem is that how the election boundary in Aljunied will be drawn in the coming election or as some have speculated that Aljunied might be torn apart and absorbed in other constituencies.

work hard my ass la. I have never seen her in that area as often as we would have liked. How do I know? Check out their party newsletter and you will know.

I don;t work in Parliament house, so no.
But there is one incident that will shows oppositions' uselessness and wimpiness, shown on TV's parliamentary highlights:
when that WP guy Low ask LHL the responsibilities that WKS should undertake on the escape of Mas Selamat, LHL shot back "Do you want me to sack WKS?" Instead of clarifying himself, WP Low chose to sulk and keep quiet. Like a typical kopitiam uncle who only know how to kaobeh, but no action.

I was told by a WP member that Sylvia works in a group of 2 or 3 instead of a big
group to avoid attention from the media.
You live in Aljunied ? If you live in Aljunied constitutency, then you might be right as you have first hand information.

The sentiments for the coming election is pro-opposition and the votes for opposition are likely to grow in potong pasir constituency if Mrs Chiam is to get her election campaign to run smoothly and well.

Not sure about the incident you cited, but low is not your typical kopitiam uncle who only know how to kaobeh, but no action.
I don't think SDP can be called wimps.
Ok, I retract about the "kopitiam uncle" part. It really struck me hard and am very saddened when I saw that highlight on TV that evening a few years ago. I am disillusioned by our opposition party here.

I am even more disillusioned with PAP.

Then do something about it! You're disillusioned because PAP did not serve its citizens well enough, if that's the case, why not do your part to serve Sporeans in your own way?
Abeit not politically, but on the grassroots level, community level or charitable level, serve your fellow S'poreans so that they can have a better life!
Do volunteer work, contribute to the needy, share your knowlegde your have garnered in your working or educational life with our young and old so that they can have lead better lives or have the competitive advantage over whoever FTs in coming.
DO SOMETHING PRACTICAL ABOUT IT!!!

I agree with you.
You want to be less disillusioned or more disillusisoned?
Whose wish is to be realised?
Those who wish to be less disillusioned or those who wish to be more disillusioned?
Or vote Palestinian style.
