The stuff traffickers delivers has the potential to irreversably harm or kill those who get it.

The death penalty, IMO, should stay.
If there is no death penalty, people will go around killing and kidnapping people and go around selling drugs....
Death penalty is probably there to curb drug lords from having operations in Singapore. Most drug lords, armed with weapons, operate in countries where there is no death penalty, and they deal with weapons.... while police, hostages and drug abusers usually die at the hands of these drug dealers. -
As for rape cases, I would say South Korea's method to castrate the rapists through legal injection sounds good. Maybe Singapore can adopt hor?

Assumptions again. Who said it should't be used ? If it can be used, however it is not used. Probably because of rape affects men more than women, gender issues is also a problem. And please read the thread.
