Like i said in this case, will any sentence be fair ? Give you 20 years in prison, will it be fair also ? Dont give me the, ya 20 years prison of course better. Different case this time. Its the wrong of the law.

It is always a sad case when the customs officer or CNB officers nab someone who is carrying the drugs above the amount prescribed by law.
There must be no wavering in the application of the law. No buts....otherwise the whole system, past, present and future will be questionable.
Investigation are two pronged, one to establish knowledge and the other if there is a possibility of being set up.
All drug couriers profess innocence, that is their SOP, ie. they did not know, it was their (uncontactable) "friend" who gave them the package etc, etc.
All those who were hanged knew they were carrying drugs for a fee. This is established by the way they hid the drugs and their story when they reveal their connections. There is no mistake. The only mistake is on the couriers part, they got caught, and can't prove they were NOT delivering drugs.

You know how long it takes to hang a guy AFTER he has been sentenced to death? more than one year. You know how long it takes for the guy to go in front of the judge to be sentenced? at least one year. How long you need to prove someone is innocent? And oh, i have a question... what if a guy is innocent, but got sentenced to life in prison, and dies of old age there?

Just prove you are not delivering, and it is for personal consumption. If the prosecution demolish that defence, you are dead.

If one is innocent, life sentence is better than death penalty for most ppl.He at least have a chance to live in the prison (free of charge!) and even to leave the prison one day.
If a person is innocent and get death penalty,it is a very grave miscarriage of justice.
