Hanging is usually on Friday mornings.
After hearing the "clang" of the trap door at 6.00am, the rest of the prisoners try to enjoy their weekends as best as they can.
That's why some are reformed, some hardened.

yes. Should Hang on the spot. SHOW TO the whole Singapore. Dun deal with Drug. IF not Hanging is like that. Die at the spot. Like Last time China, on the spot Execute the criminal in front of the crowd. I think this will scare and warn people not to touch with drug. Another one is rapist. Hang Rapist. They should be scare.

The death sentence for drug traffickers is not to solve the problem, but to deal with the traffickers. Lesser punishment is not sufficient, the max is death.
With the death sentence, you and I and many others will never consider trafficking drugs. But if the sentence is two weeks jail for a Customs and Quarantine offence, there will be a long line of volunteers to carry drugs.

Those who are executed are just simple mules, the real traffickers may even be in other countries. These kingpins can easily find someone who has nothing to replace those who are hanged.

Got police to catch criminals, but some criminals are not caught. So crime is still available here. Is the problem solved?

Rather then punishment, I think the death sentence is use to make others think twice before taking it...
It can almost never be solve, because no matter what there are still chances of getting the drugs in singapore... Even if 100 people tried to enter sg with drugs, one might get thru... although the rest might be hung...
Unless greed can be remove from human, people will risk their life because of greed...
The thing is, most people might think it doesn't worth your life for the sake of that money, but to some it is worth the chance...
Find a way to make people feel that it doesn't worth it... Something worst then death...

Oh ya,u were right.Tell u what,let us go to the prison n butcher all criminals regardless what crime they have commited.This way,we can save alot of money as taxpayers.

if a drug trafficker did not think of the suffering, the living death of the victims of the drugs, why should people think about his suffering?
granted, many druggos are in it voluntarily, the harm is there...
but it remains.. the guy knew the punishment of the crime.. yet he did it..
if you go to a country, you obey the laws..
if you want to repeal the law because someone broke it trying to profit from his crime, i think you're barking up the wrong tree...
