Defiant YPAP leader and new citizen from India Mr Sinha Shekhar has threatened to sue a netizen who lodged a complaint against him to HDB for “slander”.
Mr Sinha Shekhar sparked a massive outcry in cyberspace lately when he revealed on the REACH Facebook that he owns both a condominium and HDB resale flat which he rented out, prompting one netizen “kojakBT” to write in to HDB questioning if Mr Sinha has contravened any HDB rules in doing so.
HDB has since cleared Mr Sinha Shekhar of any wrongdoing, but he remained bitter and upset in an interview with Straits Times.
Mr Sinha Shekhar said he “found it unfair that a faceless and nameless netizen could catalyse an investigation into his property dealings,” a lame argument used repeatedly by the PAP to discredit its critics in cyberspace.
“If I want to sue this guy (KojakBT) for slander, will HDB give me his details? They can’t!” he whined.
How kojakBT has slandered the thin-skinned Mr Sinha Shekhar is anybody’s guess when all he did was to ask HDB to investigate the matter.
Unlike Mr Sinha Shekhar, “kojakBT” is a Singapore citizen who has served two and a half years of National Service and has reservist obligations as well.
A poster-boy of the YPAP, Mr Sinha Shekhar who has NEVER served a single day of National Service in his entire life, may end up standing for elections in the future under the banner of the pro-foreigner PAP, or rather FAP (Foreigner Action Party).
As a prominent leader of the Youth Wing of Singapore’s ruling party, it is disappointing that Mr Sinha Shekhar has picked up the bad habits of the senior leaders of suing their critics and opponents as and when they please.
Mr Sinha Shekhar is notorious in Singapore blogosphere for his description of PAP critics as “dogs” on the YPAP Facebook. Ironically, he was later given an “Outstanding Contributors’ award” by Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong in person for the regularity of his contributions on the PAP REACH Forum and Facebook.

For some strange reasons, YPAP Chairman Teo Ser Luck has remained silent on his fellow activist’s outburst against Singaporeans who dare disagree with the PAP’s policies, an indication that he endorsed the harsh language used by Mr Sinha Shekhar.
The PAP has been actively courting PRs and new citizens like Mr Sinha Shekhar to boost its flagging support base.
The next election may be the last opportunity for true-blue native Singaporeans to reclaim ownership of Singapore after which they will surely be relegated to being second-class minorities in their own country of birth led, controlled and dominated by new citizens born elsewhere like Mr Sinha Shekhar to perpetuate the PAP’s political hegemony forever.
ok so guys...what do u think? i personally think he is a fool of a politician to commit such blunders such as threaten to sue the whistle blower. so now reporting against unlawful practices or suspected unlawful practices are disallowed if ur from PAP? I believe he has to understand that being in an appointee of a political group makes u a somewhat public figure and thus u are open to public scrutiny. if leaders in social services like Kong Hee has been questioned, then why would he be anyway immune to public scrutiny.. since HDB has found him not guilty of any wrong doing...then what is there to be flustered about? why is there the sudden urge to sue the one who did his civic duty in pointing potential arrears.
i think the whistle blower is a true citizen. He has the guts to blow whistles when suspected wrong doing is present...if one is not willing to point out areas that the country could be having problems..starting from our politicians and future leaders, then we are not patriotic enough...we are ostriches who bury our heads in the sands and claim everything is alrite... the public has the right to know if we have leaders like this who think themselves high and mighty and living in a high tower without even knowing the situation on the ground... gone were the old guard who fought to build this country....all that is left are now this kinda politicians? then we are in deep trouble... then we should have the moral courage to reject this kinda politicians...we should at least have our politicians continue to show the integrity of the old guard like they did...not having to threaten to sue left and right... if u are flustered and wanting to sue...it only gives the image...that ur defensive and have something to hide...or does he?
He is not a politician yet lah.
But since he is a YPAP member, I reckon he might want to go into politics someday.
But after this matter, I think the incumbent party might not want to risk further reputation damage so that means likely hanta kaki - no further advancement.
the story is like that
Mr Sinha Shekhar, who works as a speech therapist at Thye Hua Kwan Ang Mo Kio Community Hospital, wrote that he paid “really high” for a resale HDB flat and the rent he is collecting is not enough to pay for the bank instalments.
Mr Sinha also revealed that he owns a private property, implying that he bought the resale HDB flat NOT for staying but for renting and making money.
nowsaday, flood go and pinpoint to climate change
Eh you got this from Temasek Review.
End of hope for him to enter elections liao.
This Sinha is the well known clown who drinks Singha beer at Golden Mile every Sunday night

Just wanted to point out that he has inherited Singaporeans' need to complain and whine about the government and its pay and pay policies.
Starting with paying more property taxes.
Does he even realise it?
I say to him, welcome to life in Singapore.
Wow, apparently such habits do start young.

I was actually referring to the YPAP member wanting to sue, isn't that typical PAP style?
sinha's existence is a sin.
