Before anyone of you gets too excited about the latest news of water front living, the estimated price of a 4rm flat there is around 350k and 5 rm 400k...
I dun know how many new wedded couples are earning more than 5k a month this days..our economy must be doing very well

You would be quite surprised to know that many young people these days earn over the 8k limit to buy a new flat and not realising it, and then end up in the position where they cannot buy a new flat.
I'm not saying most are earning more than 8k combined, but some couples choose not to buy flats because they can't.

Might as well buy condo...nowadays HDB flats so pricey resale even worse...just imagine a couple with 2 kids squeezing with the same flat with parents...

Reading the title of your thread I was happy to see that HDB is building 35k flat but don't really believe. Only when i read the thread then I know it is a typo error. You made people happy then crash it leh.

Condo can use CPF to pay? Try taking a 400K housing loan from the bank please.

I think Toa Payoh flats are going for more. Definitely not 350k for a 4 room and 400k+ for a 5 room. My area is not even in a central area and the 4 room flats are already over 400k

Becoz land in SG is scarce. But more importantly, lots of loaded foreigners are buying SG properties at skyhigh prices, leaving cash-strapped Singaporeans in a fucked up position............... -
