Manage to find a decent job despite the change in environment, takes the time to understand the culture of new homeland, uses the experience to start own business, understands that alot of work needs to be done before diving blindly into entrepreneurship.
Spend meaningful time with family and new friends, try out new and wonderful things, check back occasionally with relatives and friends from singapore. Got better things to do than worry about Singapore's stuff.
Example of loser migrant:
Cannot find job. sleep and slack at home all day. Claim to have plan to start business, but never executes anything. Living off inheritance of parents, worries about it running out constantly, hallucinates that the interest rate is 6% per month.
No friends in new country, spend all the time criticizing singapore in sgforum to justify to oneself that migration is the right choice. Realize inability to get job is not because of flawed motherland policies, but because self is loser. Get discriminated by locals, cry oneself to bed.

don't worry, they will give you money after they increase the GST.
after 2001 elections, increase GST to 5%, they gave money, after 2006 elections, increase GST to 7%, they gave money, so after coming elections, increase GST to 9%-10%, they will give money also.
repeat process with next elections.

i didnt study in oz and yet got my pr...i have been making so much noise on resetrvist trainings,army ippt athelete remedial trainings using my own precious time and $$$$ allocated to my research and developement in spore.$$$$ i might squander away on army but time i do not have.
