the issue of foreigners and FT should be done moderately. otherwise, foreigners will come here to take away or compete for jobs with the locals. foreigners, if they are sacked, quitted or retrenched, can go back to their home country, but where can we go?
politicians who said we must compete with cheap costs, doesnt know economics. if our salaries are stagnant, our economy are facing the threat of deflation, opposite of inflation, which is what the Japan faces in the 90s. these politicians do not know what they are barking up the tree.
Yes, i expect them to control the numbers, and not doing it so obviously

The scums in white know economics. They just want Singaporeans to concentrate on coping with job searching, salary insufficient to cope with rising costs of living so as not to focus on how they are doing much for themselves for selfish gain to think of ways to dethrone them. For some insider's info, it has proven something to the effect of relating to Lee kuan yew
alot of companies are exploiting foreigners so that they can save up on labour costs. imagine they pay 1.6k for a local admin assistant, they can hire a foreigner to do admin assistant of 1k, they save up how much in a year? $7200 of savings for a year right?
anyway PAP wont get the popular vote of 66% at the next GE. we shall see.

for these politician, as long as they can get what they want from you...why should they care so much about your stagnatation. whether it is going to be like japan or congo, you are the one going to suffer, not them.
Scary.
Because they know that our Newspaper don't have exciting news to write on, thus importing tons of talents-in-crime to create some major international news ma.
