  Notice all topics on Dr Goh Keng Swee are locked.

  How does the mod work here?   Seems obvious that the mod hates Dr Goh Keng Swee a lot.   Is Dr Goh Keng Swee the enemy of the mod?

  The article from Temasek Review which played down the contributions of Dr Goh was allowed to exist here.  Tsk tsk tsk!

  State funeral day is only for show, who cares, the disco and pubs still go on all nite, european cup final still play on, and motels are fully booked. Today peoples are not so faithful as the oldies, and bear in mind, there are a few hundred thousands new citizens who dun even bother to know who is Goh, or dun even want to be patriotic to their new country. Together with PRs, there are 1 million permanent foreigners going to the naval open house...free..So, naval open house will still go on

  Don't be mistaken.... It isn't about the late GK.

  it is the fact that govt declared it as a "state" furneral. Than it become a state affair. I am referring between Government branch of offices. Does it make sense to have  navy open house on the same day as your state furneral ?  to be honest i don't know.

  Than we have to understand what is "a ceremonial State furneral" symbolized? What it means?  any 22 gun salute?
