THE Lifestyle Survey 2009 and Concept Plan 2011 Online Survey conducted by the Urban Redevelopment Authority revealed high overall satisfaction among Singapore residents about their living, working and leisure environments.
Of 4,000 respondents interviewed from August to last month, 83.8 per cent agreed that Singapore is a great place to live, work and play in, while 89.8 per cent have a strong sense of belonging to Singapore.

Psychological speaking, most will not be happy, and it is of great blessing you get that 20% new citizens who are happy. The study is that peoples will alway said they are not happy with their own country, the govt, the cost, the system, the rules and regulation, but deep inside, there is still an agreement of staying here, but that will never reflect on a empirical survey. Dun believe, u go to any pubs, any kopitiam, any parks and ask, somehow, peoples will have certain prejudices and dissatisfaction with the living here and especially so, in a grumbling and alway complaining but do nothing country like Singapore. -

Yeh kind of misleading right lol. The headline puts "most singaporeans.." and the content says singapore residents.

According to them, "most Singaporeans" means "21%".
