No, in fact, when i was i india, i cannot find nasi brani, but there is sort of rice look quite the same, but vege in style, called Pongal, most of northern indian good foods are vegetarian, whereas only the southern india eat more mutton, in fact, the hindu indian take chicken more and the muslim indian takes on mutton more, but there are lots of vegetarian peoples in india. The word Nasi is already a malay word, and Brani, like pulau Brani, or Brani Naval base is also Malay in all due respect.
Singapore indian foods stall are mostly open by Indian muslim, these attract the malays, but like the hindi india who dun take beef, indian muslim also try not to eat beef. Foods like Indian Rojak, Nasi Brani, roti John, or roti Mary, Mee Goreng, mee hoon goreng, nasi goreng etc etc are mostly Local food, a combination of Malay and indian creation. If you go India and ask for roti John, which i did, they will ask you "Who is John??, you want to order roti for yr friend John?"
Read it again and slowly this time, letting things sink into ur brain. It says as the "Singaporean govt would like it's.....".
Make sense, good!If not ask some one who can.
did u read thread title first???
Indians are urged to set up enterprises here. These kind of foreign talent is better than the PRC talent.
We are already part of china, no big deal.
wow..imagine..PRCs and india wage war over SG...
Seriously at the rate things are going, there will come a time when you will need to look very hard to find a locally born Singaporean.
They will soon become a rare sight.
When Singapore was still just a fishing village, Indians and Chinese also came here to make their living. Today's situation is similar.
I think its more apt to say singapore is part of malaysia than India
Pakistan and Bangladash was once part of India.

Extinct. The last Singaporean will be displayed in the Singapore Zoo for exhibition. =)
Singapore is like chameleon. Some people think Singapore is a part of China, of India, or of Malaysia. I am not surprised when they say it's part of Middle East.
