However I miss all the action leh, since I am now in Shanghai Expo. Last night I attend my little princess (Shanghai JiaoHua ZhongYue) [email protected] tel:66366001 what an eye opener, blackboard (huan-yi-jia-zhang) they act, performance, tell jokes, sings. I was very impressed by Shanghainese teachers. The school had create a special bonding between the teacher & students. This unique relationship where they call her (lau-ke-ai, old granny) Then comes the serious anaylsis, each teacher could mention every students names at ease where they are lacking in. They even had their own (individual charts) marking the progress of every individual students every month where if his or her grades had fallen and why? or risen and push it a little higher. They had a (buddy programme) when the stronger students assist the weaker ones. (Something that Singapore school is lacking in) They gave us very in-depth knowledge of the students abilities, how they 1)inspire 2)create interest 3)develop passion and course of which I gave my 100% support kids should control, they lose FOCUS on studies having spend more time on pc-games and BG relationship boys from other schools with bad influnces pulling grades down

Brits political TV debate is very different from American TV Debate (note: of course American ones enjoy 1 year of rasing internet donation compare to Brits 1 month) And CNN allow only 2 party to take part Conservative and Liberals (Green Party was exculded from the debate) Brits actually allow 3 party, Libs Dems, Conservate and Labor) I love Republican "Conservatism Values" that big govt as always are the big spenders on wasteful projects.
I learning alot at shanghai, they had come up with 12 points of cooling down the property market. Currently, there is this New Trend of "Fake Divorce" hoping to get individuals loan from banks. The clamp down from getting loans for the pruchase 2 houses and 3 house Shanghai hot propeerty market with contiuned for the next 50yrs. I lurving their TV progammes Xin-Fu-Mo-Fang, american style talk show. This weird lady having 6 dogs, 7 cats and 1 parrot at home prefer to cook intsant noodles to his husband only after she had fed all her pets and strays animals.

I had just finish watching (ni-shi-wo-de-sheng-ming) there aren't any Hong Kongers stars in it, yet I find it very enjoyable to watch just as good as the Korean soap opera with China Northern taste, their spoken style de-lei-ba, liang-bai-wu, zhang-men, bang-bang-ma, wo-pi, lau-bu-shi...etc. Note: In Shanghai if you dress Singapore cusual dressing (village pumkin) you find it very diffcult to survive here. In Shanghai, if you drive like Singapore, you cannot move an inche, no auto mobiles will give way you had to drive like thru it you take your chances. In Shanghai, it is a hard enviroment, the people behavior is like our 70s 80s beng culture we had experience where littering, spitting, loud talking, some vulgar is accepted (like our old days of Singapore) You had to re-adapt, re-learned, re-explore back your (old beng culture) to strive and progress here and make it big here.
