Is my proposal or Mr Goh MS's proposal of selling HDB flats at cost price better?

But i also said, with balcony. you also have to pay a co payment, and not all peoples in yr flat can afford to pay again. Understand.
And i also said many times, govt will only upgrade those block that can be seen from far far, or that tourist and foreigner passes by more often, it is to protray our good image of HDB block, but inside the flat, you should know better than me, cos i dun live in HDB, so why you want a balcony, that need to pay and also for the benefit of the govt...
The govt would subside the cost and it should be affordable. The important consideration is whether most resident swant it and maybe they would be required to vote for it.So Angel7030's worry is unfounded.
most residents opts out upgrading, cos it is a govt/HDB plan to make them pay more for the sake of singapore exterior images, which tourist/ or guest our country will fully understand the hardship of living in HDB except having a good view of our coloured and well designed HDB flats...for them, they will "Wah! so nice houses and flats, singapore is really so beautiful" but inside, with peoples like you and your mother suffering, who knows...and now that you hv paid finish your flat installement, do you want to continuing paying??
Angel7030, you speak like an opposition politician.

And the gahmen stands to get more out of the tiny space you get at the end of the day which is less than 5m2
You all don't know lah. Clothes dried up under sunlight is more healthy and free of smell, free of yin chi, vitamin D. so many benefits.
Government should consider it, so that they can use it as a bait to attract more votes in election. lol.
If not, many places like tampines and so on, their free upgrade are mostly done already, nothing more to attract voters already.
Then can also boost construction sector.
Since the balcony has enough sunlight, this also allow people to plant sweet potato so they can still survive in bad ecnomy time.
One stone kill 4 birds.
A problem of my proposal is: Some ppl don't know how to use balcony. They might build windows on the balcony and make it an extended kitchen. The authority would have to make rule to prevent such act from happening.

Upgrading of estates has been and will be the PAP campaign's goodies.
The opp. parties can also call for my idea if the govt does not implement it.

they managed to conn the earlier group, but to tell you the true, the balcony is so small, not worth the 20k you paid for...and as you dry your cloth there, the water drip into the floor and not long, cracks and lots of agae will form up.
As you know MBT, when he do something to HDB,it is alway for the govt good, not the leaser good, my proposal to you is that sell your HDB, buy a condo or landed property with a big porch or garden for you to hang your cloth and also can do some sun tanning.
I don't believe citizens had to pay 20k for a balcony.
If it is good for the residents, credits would go to PAP.

Its not don't know how to use balcony. Singapaoreans in HDB homes don't want balcony, they all put windows and remove the sliding doors for extended space.
They see balcony, first thing they put windows, second they put grille. You want HDB to upgrade the closed balcony by another balcony? For free?
Exactly, who wants to mop the stupid balcony floor everytime after it rains? Sure, its a fantastic place to dry your clothes, but if it rains, it still gets wet unless you're around to keep it. Lets not get into hiring a maid.
A balcony is considered an outdoor space except it may have a cover. One may grow potted plants in a balcony. So one shouldn't turn a balcony into an indoor space.

I believe there should be drainage to drain off water in a balcony.
When you dry your clothing outside, don't you have to bring it in when there is a rain?

So the People Reform Party decided that a balcony is good for the people. If PRP says so it must be so. The fact that people don't want it does not matter. Just implement and make law.
Therefore PRP = PAP, correct?

I don't even have the power to implement anything. The 1st msg of this thread is asking whether u want balcony for drying clothing and whether u think ppl want it.So everybody can have his say.Don't describe me as a dictator.Someone in this forum really behaves like a dictator.
Do u think the PAP want political reform?

But the people of Singapore wants to scold you. Come on, your ideas lack common sense.

I mean you think in the same way as the PAP.
PAP also believe their ideas are always better.

Who doesn't think his ideas are better?I believe u think u are better than me,right?
Nothing wrong to think one's ideas are better.Whether what one thinks is correct or not is another matter.
