Why is it so easy to get PR in Singapore?

I feel that it is too easy for a foreigner to apply for a PR.

the ''governors'' of S'pore just doing what their ''masters'' want them to do.....................just look at UK and US.............same thing.
S'pore is still a Crown Colony...............all these mass immigration in US and Europe is to erode national identities.............
even football being the most popular sport is targetted for the same aim, just look at how many foreign players there are at the clubs in Europe.........the plan is to get the natives used to seeing and supporting foreigners.
even national teams uses ''naturalised'' foreign players.............S'pore being a prime example, that's why i always hope S'pore gets whacked in every game....................

Well, to be fair, it is also easy for Singaporean to disown their citizenship status here and migrate out. -

It's easy because the government wants to continue to increase the population.
The general message from the government seems to be: since Singaporeans don't want to make enough babies to boost the population, we will bring in the required numbers from countries where the people would love to come work and live here.
So I guess we can expect the policy to continue until the island is sufficiently populated according to the government's plans.

Common knowledge that PRship is very easy to get in Singapore what.
Even cleaners and masseuses can become PRs.

Dont you know, our govt likes the challenge of aging population problem? Even though 20 years ago, the shortage of babies is not as acute, the govt wants to import lots of population now in 20-30s. So 20 -30 years later we will have a huge aging population.
Replacing birthrates? Thats propaganda... The shortage of babies now will only cause a shortfall in the workforce 20 years later...

Yup, They should have imported babies instead of people in 20-30. That's what you mean right?

But how can only import babies, like that become human trafficking liao. The whole family comes in call migrate.

The land mass and resources in Singapore are only that small and limited.
Increasing population at a breakneck speed is a sure recipe for disaster.

Surely you can import them in sensible numbers such that demographics do not cause a disporpotionate aging population. The amount Singapore should import should be close to shortages 20 years ago.
