In taiwan, we also dun tax on essential goods, like rice, soya sauce, baby products, salts, tea, sugar etc etc...cos this are the basic needs and also help to promote birthrates, however in Singapore, you still need to pay Gst for all these...haiz!!! singapore govt, not only kill it own citizen, somemore burnt them alive.
When my brother was in the army, i drove to fetch him in SAFTI, jurong, i saw that signal sign showing a Chopper knife and a Fire torch, it reminded me of Singapore govt, Kill and burnt.

I did, i did talk to Chen Soo Seng many times over breakfast, but he is also a happy go lucky guy, full of humor and jokes like me, he told, he is just an MP, not even a Minister without portfolio, it kind of game over for him to persue further advancement in his political career, just happily attend free dinners with RCs, go for some Ge Tais in 7 months as Guest of Honor, other than that, have breakfast with young lady like me and go back to his bungalow and do gardening, paint brush, chinese caligraphy, see the moon and recite chinese poem.. -

I think disntinction between local n PR have already show a mjor chance. There seem to b more PR clinging on to their original citizenship.

this is the first batch, and first batch tends to have linkage to their parent country, what the govt wants is to take on their decendents, that is their childrens, we make educational system here one of the top best in this region, reason being, we want peoples to put their childrens here, and once we get their childrens in, the rest is brainwashing, therefore, today PRs wanting to stick to their original citizenship is not a problem here, it is their childrens who are studying here are more important.

Meaning 80% are foreigners but at least the foreigners served in UAE army as most UAE troops are citizens of other Arab countries and Pakistan since there is no conscription.
