Banks profit thru loan interest and investment, when u do not hv any asset to collaterate with the banks, the banks will offer a joint venture option, percentage gain and sharing, you negiotiate with them, it kind of like, i wanted to franchise Carl Snr burger in Singapore from USA, you draft out a business plan and offer to the bank, and also you need to draft out a business profitability plan, so that they banks are willing to take you on, why not, Wendy is here, Carl jr is here, BK is here...all are profiting, so y not Carl Snr which provide foods and entertaining more for older peoples, and that suit singapore aging population well.And when the banks agreed to fund you base on a long or short term contractual basis, you are on, go US, sign up with Carl Snr, they will help you to start up with all equipment and training. Then you are on...if the contractual with the banks is 5 years, you do it like working for the banks for 5 years, and later the whole business is yours, then you look for another franchises, and this time, because you are successful, instead of asking the banks, the banks will be knocking at your door to venture or loan you money ya.
