I believe that it was through his own merits that he became a BG in the army in such a short span of time.
I also believe that his wife (despite losing billions), brother and himself all attain their positions through our meritocratic system.
I also believe that Kim Jong Il obtained his position through meritocracy and democracy exist in N. Korea.
