Many shipyards bosses and workers come my place here to drink and have fun. In entertaining cum F and B business, we can sense the conditon of the economy by the people who patronise us. I got customers from shipyard and marine industrial coming to drink here, and when i chat with them, surprisingly their bonuses is so high, some in oil rigs more higher, too bad, they said mostly young and middle age singaporeans are not willing to take up such challenging jobs, mainly due to safety, dirty, sweaty and long hours working, however the monetary gain is tremedous.
And personally, i think it is very manly job. But too bad, most of our sg men are gayish and like those Uncles above, old and nagging type, or some who just like to wear tie, long sleeve and act like millionaires standing in sales department all day when actually he is a Po kai man.
They also said they got recruit Singaporeans, but after 2 weeks to 3 months, most resigned or simply give up. So, when peoples tell me that Singaporeans got no jobs?? i think Singaporeans are knocking themselves on the head??

I think some of you kids out there should consider aiming for learning specialized vocational skills rather than getting a diploma or degree next time.
At the rate things are going in Sg, those papers are almost worthless because the majority of jobs being created are mainly low waged, low skilled service jobs.
Either that or try to be an entrepeneur if you can afford to take the risk.
