frankly, if i am high rollers i wont gamble in singapore too.
after all the clamp down on geylang and entertainment scene, if i win money, where can i get ladies to celebrate with me. if i lose money, where can i get ladies to console me?
casino and night life should go hand in hand la. you promote casino but clamp down on night entertainment. how to succeed?? just see lor.

aiya, my pub everyday also football shows until i also know every game lor...no football shows, no customer lah, and beside, being knowledgeable in football is a plus for me in our kind of trade...u think i really like football ar???In europe, there are lots of gal fans in their football scene, in asia, especially in singapore, you can hardly get a female fan...u ask them chelsea or Milan they will tell u about chelsea maple syrup and Milan fashion. If they rally all their supporter rich people to spend at the IRs, i am sure they will get the revenue they need. Many benefited from the system.

Below was the report about Las Vegas.....
Profits in the 40 casinos on the Strip totaled $709.3 million, down 57.3 percent. The rate of return fell from 10.8 percent in 2007 to 4.5 percent in fiscal 2008.
If i add up the 57.3 percent reduction to the profits back up to 1.6 billions that is still average over 40 casinos

Can the books be cooked to conceal profits too ?

I think they are in a catch 22 situation
I was thinking if they presented profit in the first year....
Gamblers might end up suspecting the "Dice" maybe coated....and would not come to gamble.
If they increase the percentage of winners, it goes into Red.
Universal studio is not unique given that other region in Asia too have Universal studio so I think revenue will be flat in the long term.
