  you fail to understand that the Lee Family doesn't want smart people in govt becoz they present a threat to them................they only want obedient lapdogs...........

  even if you can make S'pore more powerful than USA.................make S'pore richer than the entire Middle East..................they won't use you at all............

  what's so difficult governing this little scrap of land ?

  our main problem is a govt that simply uses too much money feeding too many civil servants and high salaries of the ministers..............

  if govt is honest, they can cut their expenses by more than half and the savings can be passed to the people via lower cost of living........like less GST, cheaper public services..........

  our situation is a rich govt with poor population.
