Tanjong Pagar GRC

  Now, I know everyone thinks its close to impossible that Tanjong Pagar GRC will fall to the opposition.

  but I am just wondering, IF this GRC did indeed got challenged, and it fell to the opposition, I wonder what will happen to LKY?

  Will he get a rude wake-up call, that he has been rejected by the very country he built?

  Or will he call for a by-election and tell WKS to step down, and nominate himself into that GRC?

  It would be most interesting if Tanjong Pagar really falls. I would like to see how LKY responds to losing :D

  A local Fen shui master say that the tiger year is no good for the PAP and next year is a widow year and election is equally bad.

  For Tanjong Pagar, I dont know what has been changed since last election, if the same old voters remain, they may continue to vote for the ruling party. (actually they did pretty well by taking care and giving welfare benefits to the elder in that GRC)

  the govmin is chaning the rules again. eg. hdb resale of resale flats will be allowed only after 3 long years!  this will limit the rise in hdb price.

  the people will again support them.

  you see, they can just change rules and the people will support them for another 51 million years.

  Alternative parties will never win. this i assure you. dun believe me? check the results of the next election. i am a master grade forecaster. never failed in forecasting for singapore before. last 50 years, i always right.  I read singaporeans' minds like the back of my hand. my predictions is bao jia D24 durian.

  u lasted 50 years, aiyo, even at PAP kindergarden, the childrens there also know PAP wins all the way..why need a 50 years old plus plus to tell us??

  In worse case scenario, they will sacrifice 1 or 2 GRCs in the hopes that the top opposition candidates will move in to contest them.

   

  There is quite a huge number of people waiting to cast protest votes against the incumbent after the big boo boos in the past few years.

   

  Election fever is everywhere.  Kopitiam ah peks and ah sohs are also getting ready to unleash their fury.

  I think if Tanjong Pagar or even Marine Parade GRC become opposition held, LKY would have cursed himself to his grave. I doubt he can suka suka call by election unless his Ang Mo Kio son decided to do so.

  Not going to make a diff and HDB resale price will continue to hike. I said many time that PRC Chinese get Singapore PR as insurance from communist PRC. They are rich Chinese with lot of cash. I have seen PRC local buying up apts( I repeat many aparts) with bag load of HARD CASH. In Hainan island, if you care to visit bank u probably will be shocked with the cash stack inside the bank. It like the old day in Indonesia where we pay salary by container load of cash. The only diff is that Indonesia was in riot wherelse PRC could use money to stone you to death.

  So, ask any money changer how much RMB they have and property agent, they will tell the same story. PRC and Indian are rich ppl now to buy HDB together with private house and in cash.

  The only way is to let them buy only a selective class of private property. Leave our HDB to the Citizen please.

  kopitiam ah peks and ah sohs also know that the budget got no rebates or goodies for them, so the election is not near ya.

  further more ah peks and ah sohs talk and complain alot about PAP, later when voting, each secretly come and ask me cross which one is PAP ar???
