For people who truly vote for the PAP, I have nothing to say. It's each person's own decision
For you to vote for the PAP not because you want to, but because you don't have any courage, it's absolutely sad.
It's people like you that continue to keep the PAP in power, to continue to bring pain to the average Singaporean (that includes you).
You are the most pitiful of the lot. The lot that thinks that there is no other alternative, when in fact, the alternative is very much better, given what the PAP has done to our country now.
Realistically speaking, I think that there are 3 categories of voters in Singapore
1. 30% - hardcore PAP supporters
2. 30% - hardcore anti-PAP supporters
3. 40% - apolitical Singaporeans who prefer not to be involved, or who do not have the guts to vote against the PAP
The PAP knows that there is nothing they can do about the 30% anti-PAP group. All they can do is to swing the voters their way through the 3rd category of voters.
Unfortunately, it's VERY easy to make use of these voters. Just give them GST credits, they will vote for the PAP.
Why do I think it's split like this? It's because the PAP cannot win more than 70% of votes now.

Probably been through the propaganda blast by PAP that no others are better. All other options blocked. It's a pity that many share that same view.

Huh?? Uncle, u took the wrong medicine ar???
Before anything begin, PAP already got 80% voters, then slowly some move away and it will end up with 70% or below, they already got 1/2 million of voters in NTUC as members, 3/4 million in RC, CC and Youth PAP in their favor, another 3/4 million Civil servants including arm forces in their favor. Then you come to local business the rich, most towkay and towkay family making rich here will vote for them too, that will be another 1/2 million, so, total 1.5 millions is already in their favor.
Hey, Angel, you never mention new citizens??? Another slice of cake for pap.
ya hor...that new citizen, confirm.com.sg for PAP one lah. I hear now the govt place alots of new citizens in tampines...

same, like PAP nursery centres and NTUC's childcare centres, they are expanding, and the objective it to train them to love PAP forever.
Parents go to work, their kids listen to Young LKY stories.

The ground crew in Changi Airport are staffed by foreigners who has below rudimentary understanding of English and a equally poor service standards to match it. It made my getting checking in an extremely unhappy experience save the fact that a local whom I presumed worked many years there who helped me out in the check in process. Kudoes to him!.
If these are the kind of FT that we have to be tolerant over, no one in the right mind can tolerate such nonsense. Worse still, they will presume that all Singaporeans have degenerated to that level and we would least expect the ground crew of CASS to be staffed by foreigners.
Now you understand why productivity and service standards are dropping in Singapore.
Yet, despite all this, Changi airport has only dropped to 2nd place in international rankings recently.
And it's all Singaporeans' fault for not becoming "cheaper, better and faster".
So we pay our minsiter millions a year to talk this kind of bullshit?

The more productive ones come up with frog fables which nobody has ever heard of.
Let's watch which million dollar paid minister will come up with the "Animal Farm" story.

ya, in changi, a china cleaner will think of china while cleaning/wetting the floor, but a Singapore cleaner will think of the pride and proudness of Singapore, so he/she will clean more. That is why we dropped, because Incheon use korean cleaners
i would say the chances of opposition winning 1 or 2 more seats are quite likely...rising discontents are mounting daily ... but such losses to PAP are still affordable....they will go headstrong with their "ivory" policies...
they forgot to feel the stones on the ground as they hit straight to their objective...anyone can do just that....but the political victory is not something to applaud....
I think the incumbent party will sweep the next election and crush all opposing voices.
Get ready for 15% GST soon.
surely they will crush...but there will be 1 or 2 likely to win...PAP will have not much to lose...they still can afford it...
the main contention is when LKY will go....thats the good chance but not now....but its nearer
i would like to see those in power are being caught and brought up on stage....kneeling below Sg bitches 2 legs.....as they beg for help....to see them helpless under bitches they protect and biased against men....

I can envision the Headlines the day after the incumbent party sweeps the next election:
"Flawless landslide victory - total mandate to push forth all policies with no dissent in the next few years"
Sub headline:
"Pay rise for ministers immediately for a job well done."
the slogan for oppositions has always been targeted on LKY ... the days of his party will go sooner or later...beginning with internal conflicts within the party as all are aware
WKS is DPM mah. everyone now debating about this matter surely he cannot sit on the sidelines much longer. die die also must say something. i rrather he dont talk.
his talking make me sick
