Can anyone tell me how to convert to a singapore pr?

Umm... Currently, I'm 16 years old, a student who hold student's pass, studying express stream in a highschool. Both my parents are neither singapore pr nor singapore citizen. I'm really keen to know how to get a SPR before 18 years old. Is there any way to get it? What do I need to do? It will be a great asset, if i can stay in singapore in the future. =D

why you want pr and not Singapore citizen? -
It's because one must be a pr first before they can be converted to citizen.

Why dont you (TS) ask your parents to enquiry about spore PR status for you? What is the critieria in order to become PR.
I think you need to check with spore Immigration dept first.

He must also pay a penalty of $10,000, which was the amount the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA) officer received in two of the four charges he was convicted of last Friday. The amounts in the other charges were not specified.
He is the second senior ICA officer to be punished for corruption by a district court this week.
