Umm... Currently, I'm 16 years old, a student who hold student's pass, studying express stream in a highschool. Both my parents are neither singapore pr nor singapore citizen. I'm really keen to know how to get a SPR before 18 years old. Is there any way to get it? What do I need to do? It will be a great asset, if i can stay in singapore in the future. =D
u guy ar
then if u become PR
must go serve NS liao
If you want to stay in Sg
then u must contribue to Sg lor
u got few million cash in bank?
then no problem in getting PR
1st generation pr no need to serve what.
Is there any other way beside "having few million cash in bank"?

ask yourself what you could do for Singapore first
If you are Indian, wait in line for the next 8 PRC/Malaysian to get first. This is racial balance. Do anyone know if this is true? and is Sg govern really praticing this?

why you want pr and not Singapore citizen?
It's because one must be a pr first before they can be converted to citizen.

you work so hard to become a pr......but other sporeans die in order for u to get your p.r.
yes,u live while other sporeans will die.
go back...spore is too rotten for u...u may come back 10 years later to apply if spore has recovered..
Why dont you (TS) ask your parents to enquiry about spore PR status for you? What is the critieria in order to become PR.
I think you need to check with spore Immigration dept first.
To Ban Me Please: It doesn't mean that becoming pr is the main cause, right? There may be other possible causes.
To noahnoah: Nope, I thought that one must be of citizen/pr to own the house in Singapore.
To Hitman~: I understand what you mean. But it's different for everyone. You don't know my background...... It's like haiz...

HE STARTED out as an office boy in 1970 and rose to become a chief immigration and checkpoints specialist over 40 years.
But Chung Cheong Weng, 60, was left surveying the tatters of his career on Wednesday, bound as he now is for jail time.
The downfall of this married father of three grown sons: accepting sexual favours from a 36-year-old Chinese national he was supposed to have been investigating, which earned him a six-month term.
He was handed another two months for hindering investigations by asking her to keep mum about their relationship and to delete cellphone text messages they had exchanged.
SENIOR immigration officer Dong Ching Jit, 56, was jailed 18 months on Thursday for accepting bribes to extend the social visit passes of foreign nationals.
He must also pay a penalty of $10,000, which was the amount the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA) officer received in two of the four charges he was convicted of last Friday. The amounts in the other charges were not specified.
He is the second senior ICA officer to be punished for corruption by a district court this week.
